What we are trying to do
Home storage is a confusing market. Specifications are inconsistent, savings claims are optimistic and the rules change every year. Most homeowners are asked to spend thousands of pounds on a decision they cannot check.
We build the tools and the explanations we would want ourselves: a calculator that shows its working, articles that state what is uncertain, and comparisons that do not quietly favour an advertiser.

How an article gets published
Source
Regulator documents, manufacturer datasheets and grid operator rules, used as primary sources rather than press releases.
Model
Anything financial goes through the same hourly simulation engine that powers the public calculator.
Review
A second editor checks the claims and the dates. Time-sensitive figures get a review date.
