What we are trying to do
Home storage is a confusing market. Specifications are inconsistent, savings claims are optimistic and the rules change every year. Most homeowners are asked to spend thousands on a decision they cannot check.
We build the tools and the explanations we would want ourselves: a calculator that shows its working, articles that state what is uncertain, and comparisons that do not quietly favour an advertiser.

Regulator documents, manufacturer datasheets and grid operator rules — primary sources, not press releases.

Anything financial goes through the same hourly simulation engine that powers the public calculator.

Review
A second editor checks the claims and the dates. Time-sensitive figures get a review date.
